B3 Product Filters Article

Getting Started

Install the WooCommerce dependency, choose an automatic or custom filter set, and verify the first storefront update.

Start with one real catalog archive. Activate WooCommerce and B3 Product Filters, decide whether the automatic source set is enough, then prove filtering, results, chips, and URL state move together.

Install and activate

Activate WooCommerce first, then install B3 Product Filters and confirm its admin screen is available.

B3 Product Filters depends on WooCommerce. Install and activate WooCommerce before activating the plugin so catalog sources, storefront filters, AJAX results, widgets, shortcodes, and automatic archive delivery can run.

  1. 1
    Install and activate WooCommerce.
  2. 2
Install B3 Product Filters from its plugin ZIP or the WordPress Plugins screen, then activate it.
  3. 3
Open `Product Filters` in WordPress admin and confirm the Getting Started, Filters, Display, and Status areas load.

Choose your first filters

Start with the automatic filter set or add a deliberate custom group list.

Open the Filters area to choose sources, labels, control types, order, and behavior. If no custom groups are stored, the plugin derives a practical set from the catalog: price, up to three product attributes, categories, on sale, stock, rating, and sorting.

Catalog filters
Filter by attributes, categories, tags, custom taxonomies, price, stock, on-sale status, rating, or a search term.
Control choices
Available controls depend on the source and include checkboxes, radios, dropdowns, buttons, swatches, ranges, sliders, and toggles.
Sorting
Offer default order, popularity, average rating, latest, or price ordering without a full page reload.

when you need a custom group order or different mobile and apply behavior.

Verify the storefront

Test one real archive or embedded panel before refining presentation.

The fastest verification path is an enabled WooCommerce shop archive. Open the shop, select a filter, and confirm the product loop, result count, active chips, and URL state update together. Then use browser back and forward to confirm the selected state follows history.
